Why is my hair so dry and brittle?
If your hair feels dry and brittle it’s a major sign that it’s lacking moisture and needs some serious hydration, in the form of a hair mask such as SO Intense Repairing Masque or a leave-in hair mask such as RPR My Vitaliser.

Hair can also become quite dry and brittle if you’re not using the correct heat protection spray such as RPR Protect My Hair when curling, straightening, or blow drying.

Using cheap quality shampoos and conditioners, or over bleaching your hair can also lead to your hair becoming dry, brittle, and frizzy. So always opt for professional quality ranges such as RPR and Salon Only.

How to repair dry hair
Dry hair often appears dull, brittle, and frizzy. To help repair dry hair back to health, we recommend applying a professional quality hair mask such as SO Intense Repairing Masque or RPR Repair My Hair Keratin Mask once a week. These high-quality masks will intensely repair, restructure, and nourish your hair while also promoting elasticity, strength, and shine.

After shampooing, simply squeeze out any excess water and apply the hair mask, focusing on the mid to ends. Leave it on for 10 mins, or 20mins for a deeper treatment. Then rinse and style as required.

Does blow drying hair everyday damage it?
Exposing your hair to high levels of heat everyday can be quite damaging. However, there are some steps you can take to ensure your hair is looked after before, and during blow drying, to minimise any damage.

Before blow drying try and allow your hair to air dry as much as possible. This will cut down on the amount of time your hair is exposed to heat. Then apply a leave-in treatment such as SO Magic, to help protect, smooth, and seal your hair. Also make sure you are applying a heat protectant spray such as RPR Protect My Hair during blow-drying.
