Styling Techniques

Smoothing & Frizz Control: Apply a thermal protectant first. Section hair to approx. 2cm wide — the thinner the section, the better the result. Place at the roots and slowly glide to the ends.

Curling: Apply thermal protectant. Section hair to 2cm wide. Place at roots, flip the straightener 180° (upside down), then slowly slide through the section. Catch, twist slightly to reform the curl and leave to cool. The slower the pull, the tighter the curl.

Volume: Pull each section out to a 90° angle from the scalp, then glide the straightener down to the ends.

Kicks & Flicks: Use a ‘C’ motion as you glide — away from the head for a kick out, towards the head for a kick under.

Short & Spikey Styles: Apply styling gel or spray, then hold sections up and away from the head while straightening.
